These forums are great and I've already soaked in a ton from them! 

I am JUST learning and I am a sponge and want to soak it all in! 

I've been a member for a couple of months now and first wanted to soak up as much real estate knowledge as possible before introducing myself.

Network with your local REIA meetingsi in your area and soak up the wealth of wisdom offered by veteran investors here.

Just take some time to soak up the information and read as much as possible! 

I have never bought a property before and have just been soaking up knowledge from bigger pockets.

Great to have another construction guy around... and in particular, I believe your commercial background will serve you exponentially.The only thing positive about DC traffic is that it does keep me still enough (literally and figuratively) to soak up the podcasts... they make the insanity tolerable (so thanks @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner - the impact of your podcasts far exceeds the knowledge gained)!

There is a lot to soak in.
