I wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

My name is Aaron and I am from Hobart, IN

I have seen a number of posts from fellow investors around my area (Hammond, Schererville, Chicago, etc...).  I am brand new to real estate investing, and looking for a local group or mentor that could show me the ropes and share their knowledge and experience.  I would be willing to help do some of the foot work in any deals you have going in order for me to learn all the steps involved and to contribute for your help.

My main goals at the moment are a combination of acquiring some rental properties for ongoing monthly cash flow and the occasional wholesaling or flipping for more short term cash.  Maybe a duplex or fourplex where I could live in one and rent out the others.

Any pointers or guidance would be appreciated.  Right now, I am soaking up many of the webinars, podcasts, and forum posts, but would really like to get my hands dirty with the help of a mentor.
