I have my students have a co-signer, and because of the rents charged the deposit the kids put down is fairly large and should cover most damages that kids could realistically cause (like holes in walls, knocked down doors and the like).

Also, if we include the cosigner, and the magistrate again assigns a 0 to him, not sure if we can collect funds from him after the trial or perhaps the trial and a co-signer’s responsibilities are not related.
