I need to know if in INDIANA its legal to receive a finders fee....I got caught up in a webinar full of hot buttons on the ease of making these fees (Phil Grove from Texas is Guru behind this but someone else presented the webinar.

Very informative, thank you.Can you clarify, though, in what context can the appraisal be presented by the borrower, isn't it always the lender that sends the appraiser (who is paid by the borrower)?

I personally wouldn't purchase a condo as an investment and I haven't used an FHA or NACA loan so I cannot comment on them and will defer to others that have experience with those areas.

Keeping the increase reasonable and communicating openly can help maintain a good relationship while still addressing the rent gap over time, just be honest with them and maybe present some comparisons.
