Mentioning good or bad experiences with life or real estate is fine but you can still say it in a tasteful, positive, and non-offensive way.If you can't do that or control yourself it's a good bet you probably will not be sticking around this forum for too long in any capacity.

Its easy to come up with lots of good reasons to follow our own tastes but there are really only three considerations... 1.

Large corporations I could see having a "formal" BBQ where it's still professional and stand-off-ish, but 3 tenants is too casual and friendship-like for my tastes too.

I would still be against it,  wallpaper is generally the most personal taste and these are definitely taste specific.
