I started out trying the cheapest data I could find like white pages etc.... and was running in circles trying to find and contact heirs.  

But most groups start with friends, family, church groups, anywhere you already have a circle of people that know, like and trust you.  

( He worked as a part-time super for a few other much larger buildings so this was welcome supplemental $$$ for him)If you manage properties in the area (say anywhere in the area loosely bordered by Sunset-Park, up to GreenPoint to Williamsburg & Bushwick, down to Lefferts/Flatbush (see red-circled area in map below) let's create a little 'union' to share a part-time roaming Super !

Like this guy Adam Neumann, so he bankrupted his WeWork investors, now he is trying to make multifamily syndication flashy with some more marketing hype and use his connection in VC world to well....trap the naive investor again.Be careful lot of these guy doesn't really have a shame and even someone said we have to thank them even here in biggerpockets LOLmany syndication are just snake oil for lack of better word, if you see their team and their acquisition team member, some of them are not yet even graduated when 2008 occured and teached all dangerous stuffs all over social media.

Also I am on the lookout on social media to see who is interested in our area and send them direct messages and offer direct booking.   

However they have websites, BP Profiles and social media suggesting years of experience and success.
