I sound like a scammer or a spam caller and I was hoping I could get some pointers.

I prefer door-knocking because I dislike cold callers.

Whenever phone is not available, the caller will not stay on hold, instead they will drop a message to voicemail.

Meaning, what types of things would be said or done to try to charge the caller?
