You are off to a good start, but I suggest you take some time to peruse the forums and learn as much as you can while you are in college. save your money, and then when you graduate you will have a good paying job which will help you qualify for a higher mortgage and then you can get the ball rolling from there.

Mike Dorneman This isn’t the most popular option you’ll see but I’ve used Sears Outlet before and perused the “open box” deals at Lowe’s and Home Depot.

@Wayne Bodley  you can peruse FCI exchange out of LA private sellers of notes.. although caution you never know what your going to get without some decent due diligence.

Hi all, Just perusing online and stumbled on a 8-unit property.

It might not be all that scientific, but you could peruse Craigslist to see what rental rates are being offered there to get a gauge of what demand/supply/price.
