@Varun Parkash - sorry to hear that appreciate you sharing, I am wiling to learn but haven't done much handy work othernan changing the sink motor, replacing the bathroom tap :-) etc., but have a few friends who do this all day, sure Iam open to that as well!!!

Brandon,Ever since General Motors left Anderson about 15 years ago, the city and county have been diligently attempting to recover.

We had to replace a 40 year old AC unit and a furnace blower motor.

Are you SURE the property manger's HVAC guy is giving you good advice and you really need a new system-- you don't just need a new blower motor, filter, or to just clean the carbon off the contact thing?

If your tenant isn't doing that on a regular basis the dust builds up on the fan motor and burns it out pre-maturely.There are a lot of preventive maintenance things to do without the tenant telling you about it where spending hundreds will save thousands with your asset over time.Another one is making sure the tub has the flexible caulk instead of the cheap crap that cracks and water gets in underneath it.
