Examples of this might be caulking on baseboard, a scratch in the floor, tile on backsplash is crooked...

You could consider tiling that side of the cabinet and using the same tile as a backsplash.  

Match the backsplash to complement the counter color but not expensive because long term you need to gut and redesign.

On the other hand, when it was time to do the backsplashes I did them myself.

Now that I think about it, I have seen a couple for tiling back splashes or laying flooring.
