Have not made the 6 hour drive yet but have driven 4 to Orlando and surrounding areas. 

We are playing in the Orlando market.

Myself and my partner are looking to find a small multi-family home, (4-5 units) to BRRRR in Orlando Fl, and/or Cleveland OH.

I find HOA fees and property taxes in Florida quite high in comparison with other states. Could I still make a profit on an STR with a mortgage (450K to 500K), and about $1200 a month in HOA and taxes, plus insurance?...

*Never owned a home before, been a renter of condos/duplexes for 10+ years*Currently in Las Vegas, but have some knowledge/ties to Indianapolis, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Orlando markets.

I would think markets to the south & southeast of Orlando (Lakeland, Avon Park, Vero, Port St Lucie) might have some affordable options as well if you’re selective.

Vegas might have been the most exposed city outside of some Disney stuff in Orlando area.

Preferably out of the Tampa/Orlando/Central Florida market would be ideal.

I have assets in Orlando that I bought for cash, their value has gone up significantly, I'm looking to make refinances ...Thanks for any suggestions or help anyone can provide.

I’m not sure how you keep visitors from coming to Orlando unless there is a nationwide travel ban and isolation order.
