I'd hate to be attached to a system, hospital or medical group that I dislike just because is my source of income.

Also there really was no "bravado", it's just some people tip toe around what others like and dislike or what's ethical and non-ethical.

Looking back on things myself, I'd reach out to people you know that are already in the real estate field and take them out to lunch, coffee, etc. and pick their brain, find out out what they like/dislike in their field and ultimately it'll help you decide your next steps.

Secondly, while there are people who specialize and are successful in any particular business niche, you must access your own strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes to arrive at an investment or business strategy that works for you, in your geographical area.While there are ways to buy property with no job and no credit history, your universe of potential deals just shrunk enormously.
