It's about as lucrative as ambulance chasing but at more sophisticated level (IMO).The issue is that the word is getting out, so much so that the general public is becoming aware of their rights and options against predatory practices, that increases the risks of some common guy seeking advice if he feels like he got the shaft.10 years ago, much of what goes on in the minds of gurus was rarely an issue, times have changed, newbies better pay attention.I'm finding that the younger generation getting into RE just comes with an attitude that they can do things on their own, there is a gross amount of uniformed arrogance toward the industry in many ways.

Any financing accomplished becomes a bilateral agreement, I doubt you are aware of that as seems most wholesalers aren't aware, but you cannot assign your financing agreement (or part of your contract) to another buyer without obtaining specific consent of the seller/lender, that is simply uniform law in all states.

Its added cost, and added responsibility and added risk to tenants that one way or another will create higher costs for tenants..The city also needs to prove that they will enforce the new regulations in a uniform manner, there are a lot of historical reasons to question that belief.
