Or buying a house, renting it to some stranger for a year and only one year later moving in yourself somehow equates buying a new house today. 

There were countless times when the encouragement from a complete stranger on the street gave me a little boost of energy when I started fading.

I own a landscaping business so I am no stranger to sales interactions with people, but with my business the more talking I do to explain to people what we are doing the better.

I would not go down the road of asking for bank statements and then handing them over to complete strangers, you could get into a really ugly legal problem with that.

For us with one lease we told them to put the utilities in their names but will strangers divide expenses every month?
