@Seth Mattox it can be done from a distance, but I think the quality of service will be sub-par and it will take a lot of extra effort.

@Khadijah CelestineIn theory you probably could wholesale to an entity that you own, but it wouldn't serve any purpose other than to create a lot of extra/unnecessary paperwork.  

For instance I had a special case where I billed the tenant an extra expense monthly on top of the automated rent collection, so I add it as an expense and it would automatically email them and notify me when it was late of course.

My wife has to now work with them through the whole process and its a ton of work she deserves those fee's. 

Be prepared to invest extra cash into amenities to lure guests in.

Renting to a Section 8 tenant can take extra time to fill out the forms, pass inspection, get approval and move the tenant in.
