A little bit funny. This same seller https://therealdeal.com/chicago/2024/05/08/first-chicago-sel... who tried to be greedy by offering $0 co-op for buyers agents. They finally gave up and decided to rent out their home for $11,000 a month and ended up with a squitter and another article about them https://therealdeal.com/chicago/2024/09/16/homeowners-sue-pr...

We use software that tells us risk levels of potential applicants to avoid these type of issues. We have found several fake applicants so far this year on the north side chicago rentals, especially the higher end units with multiple bedrooms. It's important everyone is extra careful!
