Travel will be part of what I do with this. 

I have learned that in today's world of information you do not need to limit your investment to just markets you live in or normally travel to. 

Many of my customers who are traveling nurses buy condos or townhomes in Florida as vacation homes, then rent them out when they're not in town.This system has proven to be very lucrative, as it allows them to service the mortgage debt and generate a good cash flow.

In the next 5 years, we have 2 twin span international bridge projects, a new hospital, and the expansions of the university and college.

Also Mid-Term Rentals to traveling professionals, people displaced for insurance reasons, or doing a renovation to their home and needing a place to live for  3 months or more are also possibilities.

I'm an investor (STR properties), realtor, and own a construction company near Texas A&M in the Bryan / CS area but travel to the 903 frequently to visit family.

I dont think he will ever pick them up since he is a travel worker and already out of state.

I have 0 experience managing STR properties, but lots of experience using Airbnb from my travels 😅 I am halfway reading Avery Carl’s book on STR.

Our solution is "Do all the work on the front end" - we vet the applicants internally and go through their info with a fine-toothed comb.

Consider managing remotely you'll have to be willing to travel 3 hours when needed or find a way to handle it virtually.
