I’m a licensed and insured contrator/handyman with 7+ years of experience; I’ve done everything from building pole barns, to being the assistant superintendent building doctors offices and urgent cares.

@Michael WayneSounds very similar to a deal that I’m involved with but our deal is on a larger scale (244 units).One thing I’d consider is engaging a superintendent that represents you as the owner.

hi, i would like to know if any of you have a written agreement with your building superintendent, since i have had problems in the past, where they sometimes try to say it is not their job, i would like to start writing everything down clearly,'if you have such an agreement i would appreciate if i can see it,   thank you

I was asking other experienced multi family owners, what they use their superintendents [in a case they only take care of a small 3-15 unit buildings, and there is not much to do on a day to day basis (and obviously they have a different regular day job)And what is the price they pay for it.If you're experienced you'll know that every building can be different  for a lot of reasons, for instance when no body in that area wants to do it for the price you wanna pay etc.

One of my long term renters in a short term rental is the superintendant for a company doing contract work at a local refinery. 

I am also a commercial construction superintendent that does work on the side and can do a full rehab.

This would equip you to get an entry level job as Construction Superintendent for Home Builders, or Commercial Contractors.

Engineers, superintendents, foreman, managers. 

I am currently employed as an assistant superintendent here in Chicago for a prestigious construction general contractor here.
