With a natural in and use owner occupied housing, you could likely end up with 1-2 houses a year (each in a new city).The other option is when your baseball career is over, you will most likely end up back in your home town, so you could start the brrrr process there with maybe your parents checking in on the work the contractors and property managers are doing.Best of luck.

I grew up in RI and my dad is a carpenter in the area (was as my parents recently moved to FL) but that got me into that market with some local presence as I stayed in the Boston area. (4) properties and 14 units later, I still find myself investing in RI as the price point is about half of Boston but the cash flow is similar.

One thing I will say there is a shortage of is properties that accept a pet (single pet, ie 1 dog)You will see a lot of manufactured housing on this corridor, but there are some older homes needing updates since the parent or grandparent had just passed (just toured a great one that sold for $219k in a week (cash) that was massive but my buyer was afraid of the work & it was easy fix and flip)As I mentioned below, I'm very curious to your style-what makes the right deal for you?
