From a practical viewpoint, I wouldn’t think the lender would accelerate the note, if the LLC were a single member LLC, you were that member, and it was treated as a “disregarded” entity for tax purposes.  

Best practice in cases of broken glass in the pool is to drain the pool.

Most look at a Certificate of Insurance and confirm coverage limits but best practices are to (1) become added as additional insured under contractors policy and (2) understand coverage exclusions which are not going to be detailed on an insurance certificate.

I am realizing some of the gaps in my book knowledge and the practical knowledge required to see a deal all the way through.
