These planks that looked pretty nice got pulled up and showed an underside that looked, felt, and smelled like cat piss jelly -  thick.Now there is a layer of 12x12 linoleum glue down tile that was underneath the LVP.

Sure you could squeeze your family into a 2 bedroom apartment in a scary part of town to keep rent down, drive a car with 200k miles, and eat peanut butter and jellys at home every night.

Have a jelly bean counting contest where people can guess how many are in the jar, and have to write their contact info on a card in order to have a chance to win a prize that you provide. 

Over the course of a year my wife and I fixed it up, rented to friends, ate peanut butter and jelly, did everything we could.
