You see LPs exiting syndication is very uncommon because they typically invest with the understanding that their capital is committed for the entire duration of the investment period, which is mostly outlined in the offering documents at least all smart sponsors do that.

super smart we did this in columbus for a client on the entitlement process and helped split a lot with a shared driveway agreement and the house he bought was 300k and the one next door sold for 750k it was a really high end area

@Mike Most The Great job on building your equity base and how smart you are to be looking to othe markets, I work with out of state/country investors and help them create passive income with midwest rentals and here's a few things to consider:- Competition is everywhere and only growing in any worthwhile area, so instead of looking for places with less of it I'd focus on building the team that can still deliver results. - The time is always NOW, so many people stayed out of the "fight" over the last few years and now with rate hikes they are kicking themselves because they missed out.

It "can" indicate a certain financially disciplined person, but there is a reason DTI determines a mortgage and if it's good enough for the bank, well why wouldn't it be smart for the landlord too?
