They have in house salesmen but they also let independent agents called Brokers sell them as well because you can never have enough people selling your products.So, the way you combat that is call a bunch of places. 

@Erin Spradlin is an experienced MTR operator in the Denver area and has published some books on this topic and has a Youtube channel.

You want independent contractors, paid by the job, not by the hour.

My goals are for him -  to ensure that I have enough money available for him to get whatever care he needs (he's fully independent now, still works on his bobcat, healthy, etc. - so I guess I need to estimate what those would be - he is in his 70s and has uncles and aunts that lived until late 90s and one until 102 when no one did) and a comfortable retirement (he is extremely frugal so that's not an issue).

IMO this makes Texas the preferred choice for series LLC, although the (over rated) non publishing of organizational information in Wyoming and Nevada will have others disagree.
