The difference between high quality paints at $50-80/gallon and cheap paint ($30/gallon) is really quite small considering a 2000sf house may take 10 gallons of paint for the exterior.

Where I'm at water is about $6 / 1000 gallons, and sewer is probably about the same - and you aren't always charged sewer on the full usage of your water... for us it's like the first 7,000 gallons.

my dad taught me to drive at 12 years old on our ranch beat up VW converted to dune buggy style .. 4 speed with clutch. we had about 7 miles of roads on our ranch so I probably did 100k miles on those roads. big 500 gallon gas tank so got gas right on the ranch.. one of the roads though went up to Hunters Point it was a pretty steep winding dirt road with very steep and long drop offs I kind of cringe now thinking of if I went over it probably would have been lights out.

I know some landlords use monthly billing to bill back tenants for water usage - some by number of occupants, some by tracking number of hot water gallons used - but I can’t seem to find any of these companies via google.
