That's particularly true with the bitterly cold winters that Maine is known for and that Ed, rightly, calls out with the reference to frozen lakes and snow mobilers.  

In my area if the electricity went out for a week every time a tenant moved we’d have hundreds of houses with frozen pipes all winter long.

@Jonathan R McLaughlin Great points - if the residents left prior to the expiration of their lease and pre-paid I still worry about paying their gas bill in the middle of winter in cold Ohio to prevent frozen pipes.

It simply sets the debtor up for a repayment plan over 3 to 5 years and makes their life miserable and credit stays frozen over that time.A large percentage 80 to 90% never finish the plan to full discharge.

If it's poorer than expected, this is the first time in 3-4 years where retail employment will get halted(frozen) but I doubt trimmed.

I'm also keeping the remainder of the current build cost available in cash, just in case the credit line gets frozen.                 

and because on the inside I actually do care about others, even their noses, instead of simply throwing out or burying my fish guts (attracts the coyotes yes, right here in the city), I freeze them until trash day, in a bag and right next to my frozen pizza.
