Hi all, I want to buy a property together with my partner - a foreign investor who doesn't live in the US.

@Gary WolfowiczI have a number of foreign partners and expats that invest in US real estate but live abroad.

My local real estate company had some international connection when my bed and breakfast was listed during 2020 and Covid and we got a lot of foreign people who lived stateside whose family members abroad sent them to look.

We were also wondering if refinancing would be challenging as foreign investors and if there was a way around that?

I would be interested in hearing more about other student rental markets and individuals experiences operating before and during COVID.If you would be interested in talking more, comment below or describe your favourite Ontario student rental market and why?

For guys like me that eat sleep and breath this stuff I think it is hard for people to imagine how foreign of a concept it is to own assets. 

Apparently the concept of a bucket was foreign to him, haha.
