Canadian Investors looking for investments in the US
Hey everyone!
My brother (& business partner) and I are looking to get started with investments but the Canadian market is ludicrous. Wondering if anyone in Canada invests in the US and have some questions. We don't have that much to invest but we've been saving up since we started working a couple years ago.
I am looking in particular at Phoenix, Atlanta, and Orlando. Although by the looks of things, the former 2 maybe more lucrative.
We were wondering if the BRRRR strategy was feasible in Phoenix/Atl and if there are any specific neighborhoods too focus on and neighborhoods to stray away from?
The other thing we are considering would be short-term rentals. Any specific places in the Atl/Phoenix region where short-term rentals are thriving?
We were also wondering if refinancing would be challenging as foreign investors and if there was a way around that?
If anyone has any contacts for good investment focused realtors in the regions mentioned, please connect us! That would be awesome!
Thanks in advance!!
Can't wait to get started!
