(*indirect avenues would be through Employment Insurance and/or Child Tax Benefits).If any of you need documents and/or forms filled out by your Landlord, we will reply quickly to speed any processing for you.We know you are very stressed just with keeping your family healthy.And we realize each of you are in unique situations.So, please call/text/email me directly if you need further clarification to your own unique situation.Again, this letter is relevant for today.Things change hourly…….so we adjust hourly.We will do our best to stay updated on the situation.Also, if you know of any programs that help tenants, could you please share them with me so I can share them to the other tenants we have?

I suggested back then one would want to be proactive to save GOOD tenants.. not Tenants that are problem childs but GOOD tenants.. and we are seeing that now

To take advantage of this the governor’s decree requires “… the tenant can demonstrate to the court, through documentation or other objectively verifiable means, that the tenant suffered a substantial loss of income resulting from COVID-19 or the related proclamation of a state of emergency and catastrophic health emergency, including, without limitation, due to job loss, reduction in compensated hours of work, closure of place of employment, or the need to miss work to care for a home bound school-age child.”

So This was me when I was a wee lad, and the way we did it was my dad issued me a 1099, I believe there are limits where the child may not have to file a tax return, but I filed anyway because I was able to put that money into a Roth IRA because having a Roth IRA at 13 gives you so much time to compound that money tax free.
