I think constant listening to motivational speakers on YouTube helps with dislodging some of our preconceived notions and replace it with better truths.  

However, the selling away limitation challenges this notion.

Many people have disproved that notion.

Additionally, it's a new concept, so it will take some time for the market to adopt this notion. 

This notion of the perfect community where everyone has great jobs, great incomes, great infrastructure and business but affordable houses and communities where prices never go up is a Utopian view and unrealistic.
