I have heard some stories of people starting out by house hacking.

A 20' wide vacant 4-unit two story apartment building.

I have kind of a long complicated story that I’m guessing nobody really wants to hear so I’ll cut to the chase.

There's a story there but anyway... 

Any advice, stories, or leads would be greatly appreciated.  

Would love to hear any successes or failure stories of poeple who have bought vacant land and built successfully on it.

Long story short, sold my home on 40 acres and business, made a nice profit, met an amazing man who is a contractor, got married, sold his property too and we moved to the high desert of Central Oregon near a very popular year round resort town.

In the book, I share the story of a woman who lost over $40,000 in five years through rookie mistakes. 

If someone told me this story I would laugh thinking it was a joke.
