Unless they place it where the humidity could do some damage.  

So, I've left the windows open, AC off (mid 80's and humid), and have applied a heavy dose of Odoban every three hours.  

High humidity will challenge even the best system, even if it's matched to the house.

We have a rental in a tropical area that is naturally humid and making it even more humid, our property is next to a pond.

Bradley, I think you are better offer going with tile in any areas that may be exposed to lots of water or humidity.  

Humid + Closed = musty.

It cured some humidity issues we were having and made the A/C much more effective, quieted down the home tremendously, and we were able to "showcase" them (instead of covering them up), thus adding a ton of light to the home.My only regret is that we didn't do it at the proper stage. 

We are in south Louisiana and it humid and HOT down here in the summer. 

The unit was reading at 65% humidity. 

And please remember that sometimes it's not just heat but also humidity that makes it unbearable.
