Should I give $ back to tenant for delay in fixing ac unit?

My tenant in Kansas City, MO had to wait 2 weeks to have ac blower motor replaced. I went through my home warranty company (2-10) and their vendor didn't send diagnosis to them in timely fashion and home warranty company insisted on finding refurbished part. It took a couple of days to get part approved and ordered. Then, vendor was booked up etc etc. kind of a perfect storm of delays. I was calling home warranty co and vendor multiple times a day to try to speed things along. My questions are 1) should I offer some sort of compensation to my tenant who went out and bought window unit and she and her kids camped out in one room to keep cool? I was thinking of $100 off next month's rent for her inconvenience. And 2) could I have done anything differently to have expedited the repair. Appreciate your thoughts, comments and advice.

Buy the window unit from them at cost. Now you have a spare on hand for the next time a tenant's AC goes down.
