Although I probably wouldn't agree to that in the future, it seemed to build some goodwill with the tenants, who had just lost their home in a shortsale.

My fifth point was a token gift to show my appreciation for them being good tenants—banking goodwill.

When you read through the BBB's posted methodology of how non-accredited companies are scored - and the assumptions made - and see the BBB site shows only thee registered contacts (reviews or complaints) concerning the company, the ranking affords ample goodwill towards the organisation (essentially, you are assumed to do good, until we hear otherwise) and is statistically insignificant.After investing an evening doing a little background work on Renatus, I still do not see clearly what you are selling, nor how it would benefit me more than seeking accredited education from a university or community college at a lesser cost?

@Art Maydan, if you give it to Goodwill, at least this is what they do here, they usually give you a receipt that says "2 boxes of clothes".  

It might build some goodwill you could use later.As an alternative, you could remind your tenant they are responsible for slow drains and clogs and should call a plumber if they need professional help.  

Helping a tenant save face and recover from the mistakes they make, helps build good will.

@Gabriel Hougher If you are looking to purchase, I would check out any second hand stores or Goodwill.

Remind them they need your good will for a reference for their next rental and you need something to work with for any issues on move out.

Additionally, I think it would show goodwill on your part with the tenants.I don't know the specifics on the rent, and the vacancy rate on this particular property.

Doesn't cost me anything and it's as an opportunity to build good will.
