This^^^I can't tell you how many times I would go to a Fixer Open House - the kind where everyone gets an hour to visit the property and then make an offer - I would be crawling under the house and taking apart the electrical panel while all these couple complained about the paint color and the old carpet....

@John Underwood I used to print out google maps and as I drove over a street I would color it in red until all the streets I wanted to visit were filled in with red.

BTW- one quick way to determine if the tank is leaking is to do a dip stick test with a paste that turns color when it comes into contact with water.

Whatever you decide, it's very important to apply the rule to everyone in the building -- if it's a building or if you own a row of properties -- to avoid any discrimination claims.You are making your decision on the basis of the pet but if anyone thinks that you discriminated against them because of their race, creed, color, etc and are just using the pet as a pretense to get rid of them, you'll have a hard time proving your intent when you didn't change the rules for everyone.

@Leah R Grier So I went and looked at the Beaumont Zoning regulations and to the best of what I read if it’s in a Historical District it says you have to pay a $20 application fee and go before the historic commission and have a public hearing with your proposal of any changes to the structure and plans and color changes, use changes, etc. the same applies to the main building, any changes must be approved by the commission.
