This is a super simplistic version that doesn't take into account time value of money (what it would make if that 2k was invested instead of used in refinancing), or different interest rates, or time spent finding a bank to refinance with or... well, you get the point. 

It's more of a lifestyle plan... my kids and I all need a house and this would be my version of sequential "house hacking".Also, this wouldn't preclude me from doing other flips if I had the interest.

The new version should have everything that the old one did, but a little better.

@Steve SonnesonOne thing you may run into is a similar version of what we have here in Madison, which is an ordinance that prevents more than 2 unrelated persons to live in any house zoned as traditional residential.

We've used DISC, Tony Robbins has a free version.

People are constantly asking on this forum some version of "how much will I make?"
