Hey everyone, 26 y/o from British Columbia, Canada in the okanagan area.Never thought much about my finances until recently and just came across bigger pockets around a month ago after discovering the idea of financial independence in general (probably began with youtube recommendations) and by listening to a few other podcasts while at work as an aluminum boat builder/welder to pass the time.

Search for tall grass, old roofs, old cars/ boats in the yard, snow not shoveled.Some people found great partners doing out of state deals, but it requires some serious thought.Seller finance deals, check craigslist and use that as a keyword, I've found some opportunity in my direct mail campaigns but have never successfully scored one yet.

@Bentley Cox I don't have loans I'm not in a lot of debt I've been educating myself in real estate investment I'm studying right now to get my broker's license I've been educating myself in real estate for almost a year now I just got a new job that's going to pay me more money in the long run it's an all year work around I'm just eager to get started so I do understand why you want to get started cuz I'm in the same boat as you my name is Aaron

I am in the same boat as Melissa, weekdays are better but could make it work.

I pay my lawyer a boat load of fees to make sure everyone is honest and transparent.

Im in the same boat mate - some of the metrics and principles from the US texts will carryover but at the end of day, we're different countries with different economics, restrictions, opportunities etc.

Contact land banks, they usually have a boat loads of raw land for cheap.

And if almost every house on the street looks recently renovated, you’ve probably missed the boat.
