We weren't a couple years ago before the Fed starting holding rates at .25%, but now that that ship has sailed, I'm a lot less optimistic about the economy than I was a couple years ago (long-term, that is).My big concern is that neither cutting spending nor raising taxes alone is enough -- we need to do both, and we need to do both drastically.

My agent says he never heard of it taking longer than 2 weeks in his 30 years of real estate.Yeah, if there are no other outstanding conditions, a week, or maybe a week and a half after appraisal comes back, if you just let things sit on auto pilot and sail through.
