I have no idea what the condition of the home is but if there is a motivated seller and the numbers make sense, I would love to fix and flip this house.My question is, would it be wise to go to the county building and see if I can find out who purchased the home, then try to send that person a letter explaining my interest in it?

One's financial / legal professional SHOULD be able to extrapolate to the point of determining how best to insulate the business person as much as possible from potential liability issues.The topic of this thread is not "sheltering income" (which I do not promote - always be above-board and honest: full disclosure, especially when dealing with the government), nor is it even protection against liability arising from the assets under one's control (control everything, own nothing).Colleen was asking about issues pertaining to deductibility due to personal income caps.

I believe what makes a person a hoarder is a mental issue that prevents them from letting go despite the impact it has on their lives, which makes it difficult to even sell their house.
