While short-term rentals in areas like Kissimmee, Florida, can pay for themselves and offer lifestyle benefits, the ROI typically doesn’t match what I see from my traditional portfolio of long-term rentals in North Texas.That said, short-term rentals can still be a great choice, especially if you're drawn to the area and the opportunity to combine personal use with investment income.

Jonathan Having worked most of those markets (Detroit included), I'd say most all of them will offer investors a very similar return.

@Chris Mahoo Even without qualifying for Real Estate Professional Status (REPS), long-term rentals offer key benefits like depreciation deductions over 27.5 years, deductible expenses (e.g., mortgage interest, repairs), and up to $25,000 in passive loss deductions if your MAGI is under $150K.

Agents just need to make sure their clients are serious and are going to be able to get funds when making offers on deals.

The reason is because the companies that back these assets, and some others, have a 1:1 between their tokens and the USD (I'm unfamiliar if EURS, THKD, and stables of other fiat offer 1:1).A possible scenario would be that you offer the seller to pay in a stable coin, like mentioned above.

I have gotten a seller's credit for my 3 existing units but to be conservative, I will assume I am paying full closing costs here.At the moment, I have ~$25k in a HYSA and expect to save another $10k from my W-2 before I start putting offers in.
