Would this make the lenders more likely to compete and offer lower interest rates or does this come across as offensive to other lenders?

I would be more concerned about a criminal record and similar items.

I'm really intrigued by what you're talking about with Central America, although like any rational investor while I am curious I'm incredibly cautious considering the political, criminal, and economic state of many of those countries.

Who cares what the board thinks they would evict her too.No offense but everyone has told you to do this and you don't want to listen, there's no other easy solution JUST.DO.IT.

And I'm not just targeting any homeowner, but "old people" (75+; no offense to anyone reading this) who might be interested in moving down to where it's warm, anyway.  

Call the relevant LE agency to levy criminal charges and evict.I don't think pacifism will work.
