I remember when I completed my first ground-up new construction here in Chicago - FELT AMAZING to finish.Our biggest lessons learned were around getting the water service done early on because of our harsh winters and making sure we keep our designer in check! 

I have driven to the quarterly events mentioned by Alex and they are a great way to meet a lot of amazing people.

I would recommend trying Minut, it works amazing for us. 

BP is awesome with so many great podcast episodes on starting out plus the books they have are amazing!

Lawdy mercy, honey, come here and post and learn and share, but mostly, get on back in the bedroom & focus on that amazing man, not on house hacking. 

The auto mechanic, who's now getting divorced, wants to rent a place, had ok credit but nothing amazing and in divorce soon to be ex wife did spending spree so credit is tanked, I LOVE that tenant.
