I am kind of kicking myself now for taking my toys elsewhere, but at the time I didn't have the cash on hand (or experience) to kill it here in the  bay.

Only buy appreciating assets and let the cash flow from those pay for your toys.

Did you end up neglecting their request to repair a broken toilet, or they just wanted to do their "business" on a shiny new toy they found at Bed, Bath & Beyond? 

We did toy around with the idea of calling the property a single family dwelling with an accessory dwelling unit.
