My impression is that insurance rates are exceptionally high in Ontario.

Legally here in Ontario Canada you can’t kick somebody out for having a dog.

I reached out to coinamatic and for a single MFH with 4 units they only sell the machines, they don't do renting.Are any of you aware of companies in Ontario that rent laundry machines to a single MFH property?

I'm guessing about 5.5% based on historical averages but then again, this is a fast booming area in Ontario. 

I still want to be somewhat close to LA (family, gf, and friends all live there) so I'm looking at areas such as Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario,  Riverside.I'd love to "hack" a duplex but I don't think I can find anything in my price range in this area, unless I look East.

Where do you find your deals? I have access to the Toronto MLS, but would like to know where to find off-market deals, and how to go about finding deals outside of the GTA.

I’m based in London Ontario , and I haven’t really been able to find much on this forum about Canadian Real Estate purchase/management .

I live in Southern California and own a house in Ontario (in California).

CoC of 5% plus in the bigger Ontario towns in single families or small multi families is almost impossible.
