Hi Danny one way to do it (And this is what I do) is to go to the county property appraisal site.For Example, If I'm scoping out a property in Orlando, FL and the property resides in Orange County I will Google "Orange County Property Appraiser" .

That being said as Danny mentioned, if there is a 6 month window before you move in, and a 60 day close to acquire the property in the first place, you would be fine.
