Change is the only constant in life and this just another thing to adapt to. 

I can see your point in that universities will have to adapt to the new environment that we are living in and finding other alternatives to generating revenue.

...this post took a weird turn.A quick takeaway that I have heard echoed elsewhere (and in your post)* a pandemic led recession is unique and leads to uncertainty in recovery and treatment (economic responses can't fully "cure" the problem as it is public health issue)I must say that my general optimism is higher than it was during the April/May and I remain confident in human ingenuity and ability to adapt and respond (in the general sense...on an individual level people are all over the place).But yeah, thanks for the quick take and thoughts on where we are headed over the next 6-12.

These industries now recognize that they need to change, they need to be more adaptable, and they need to embrace technology.

At this point, its just part of the landscape - what I want to hear are strategies people are using to adapt & overcome. 

There are quite a few investors that post and respond on Bigger Pockets and each will adapt strategies based on their goals and abilities.  

It adapts or dies.   

Virtual employees take care of their own training, create written procedures, determine their salary, hire and adapt new virtual employees, etc.

If you do, you could create your own and than adapt it to the Portuguese market.
