After some soul searching, I took the plunge into real estate investing full time and bought the 11 lots in LA!

I've met a couple people at a church I plan on going to, but I don't know a soul otherwise. 

But it appears they may have sold their souls to the devil as some feel this is an attempt by BO of a fascist take over the financial institutions (see WSJ: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123879833094588163.html).

I've been investing in real estate for about 10 years, and like a lot of other unfortunate souls made a bunch of money the first two years and gave most of it back the next two. 

I highly recommend doing some soul searching and consideration of what you truly want in life before taking the direction of a stranger.

From personal experience I'll caution you both to not underestimate the commitment of time, focus, energy, soul, and self-respect that is residency.

This was probably the most soul crushing part of this process.

The question is What would you do and how would you start making your first million in real estate if you were thrown into Anytown, USA with none of your existing contacts, no money and didnt know a soul?

But when I added the would you be offended lead in I never had a single soul say yes they would be, just the opposite which was of course not or no, or in effect giving me permission to call.

Who do I need to pester for the next unfortunate soul that has to pony up this joke of a fee?
