My wife and I are moving to Virginia Beach area for work and we are wanting to Airbnb our home!

I believe my wife and I pass all the test under REPS and material participation.

Currently, my wife and I own a house that we purchased for $346,000 (4 beds, 3.5 baths) 7 years ago in California, which is now worth $606,000.

I remember thinking how absolutely absurd it was to still be living this way after tripling my income, and on top of that my Wife was getting ready to graduate nursing school which would add even more income but, I had no clue how to keep it from disappearing every month and wondering what happened.

My wife has a strong W-2 but I still need to be able to make some money.

I do not broker those but my wife does.

My wife, (nearly) 1 y/o son, and pup moved from California to Metro Detroit in 2017. 

My wife and I purchased our first rental property here in Maui in June of 2023 to use as an STR as it was a consistent market, numbers worked, and we live 5 minutes away from the property so self-managing made sense!
