Although, it is a good idea to ask your tenants to refrain from putting anything in the toilets with the exception of human waste and toilet paper because it is possible some tenant overloads their toilet with the wrong items.

Just keep up on the maintenance and service of the system and it will be fine.Also, I would put some kind of little sign on the toilet top telling guests not to put anything but toilet paper in the toilet.

Hello BP members,I am a homeowner in MD, trying to crunch numbers to decide if I should move to TX or not.My current home A has 320k left on mortgage from 400k @2.5%, with remodelled kitchen and bath. 

I supply toilet paper, paper towels, liquid hand soap at all sinks, dishdetergent, dishwasher pods, one new dishwashing sponge, spray oil, salt & pepper (I buy the plastic disposable ones for picnics so they can't be refilled) and a few other spices, trash bags, some cleaning supplies such as Simple Green and microfiber cloths, coffee filters, plastic wrap, ziploc baggies, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets.Guests are asked to bring their own shampoo, conditioner, personal soap for showers, sugar, creamer and coffee. 

It's a really nice house that I put a lot of effort/money into remodeling myself.

I initially setup the ADU on a separate electric sub meter when the ADU was being remodeled.
