What I will say to your comment is that I think there is indeed some gray in my argument.

It really shouldn't matter unless white increases rent over gray.

(black, gray, blue)If you're meeting with clients and customers than looking more normal and "just like them" will help you.

They lost, but it gives valuable insight into how the courts examine the issue, for which the court admitted this particular issue is a gray area not examined by the code and/or regs. 

If the deal is set up correctly (legal restrictions for joint ventures), see if you can put in small amounts.In the old days, before my gray hair, you could learn a lot by buying an investor breakfast.

I know there is plenty of gray areas but a direct assessment from someone who has done both ways would be appreciated,thanks.
