That's where you rent an unfurnished property, furnish it, then turn it into an STR.

Well located, well furnished/designed, amenity rich properties at the right price are flourishing. 

Any ideas or suggestions on how to list your property with the appropriate travel nurse organizations, to rent out a fully furnished brand new townhouse that is super close to 3 hospitals?

Also post in zillow/rental websites for monthly furnished rental.

Finally, if you're interested in MTR, look into sites that cater to travelers seeing longer term furnished rentals, like Furnished Finder or use Airbnb's 30+ day stay filter to see how much competition there is and what their calendars look like. 

we have done 3 with Ale..  2 in Indianpolis area that were C class homes were they paid double rent for 3 to 6 months and houses were OK when they left  I have a fully furnished town home in Vegas were I am getting more than double rent started at 4 months is now going on 9 months .. 

I also fully furnished it and had it listed and rented as a midterm rental.

As you are in college town, look at sabbatical rentals-where people might rent it for 6 months (and want it furnished) while they come there to work at the university.I wouldn't rent it by the room if you are gone for a year. 

For some reason I thought it was commercial and furnishings of short term rentals only.
